These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat. We needed something that was a bit modern in shape and streamlined. We didn't want anything to look too heavy. We struggled to find something that worked for us and our counter height outdoor bar table, and stumbled upon these.
