I purchased for a very good sale price and it feels like an absolute steal. Site says it is top grain leather, if it is, it has a lot of finishing on the top as evident by how uniform the grain is. This chair is very comfortable. I must admit, I bought this originally solely due to the look of it with no expectation of using it often. It fit perfectly for what I was going for in my space.
