This wall sconce brings together warmth + structure in a quietly refined design. A ribbed cotton shade floats above a slim brass frame anchored by a wooden arm, creating a play between texture + tone. The result feels thoughtful + grounded – a sculptural accent that casts soft, ambient light wherever it’s placed.

So elegant -hung two in a reading nook. Were professionally installed by our electrician without issue. Tracy. Oregon, OH. Sun Jul 26 2026

This wall sconce layers natural warmth with refined structure. A dome-shaped cotton shade floats above a mixed-material arm of brass + wood, creating a soft interplay between tone + texture. The Overton 1 wall sconce by AllModern features a classic gooseneck design with a black finish and black drum shaped fabric shade. The two in one design of this wall sconce allows you to install it as a plug in so you can move it easily or hardwire in place for a long lasting look.

This sconce is really elegant and well priced. I love that the switch is positioned in a hidden but convenient spot, and the swing arm is smooth. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks great and lights up my reading corner. I will say that installing is sort of annoying, since you need the wall screws to be VERY close to the wall so the weight of the arm doesn’t shift the whole light. The included wall anchors are also pretty bad - I used my own. If you use the included ones you need a 3/16 drill bit for the anchors, wish the directions said that.. Sara. Mishawaka, IN. Strike an impact with our chic and stylish Puliafico wall sconce. The mid-century charm of our wall sconce is accentuated with a stunning mix of finishes. A double cone shade extends from a round back plate to attain a sleek geometric appeal. A brass metallic finish brings added style and definition to our modern wall sconce. Casting focused light downwards, the wall sconce remains a perfect complement to a stylish reading nook, bedroom, or home office.

I had been looking for a sconce style that would free up real estate on my nightstand. This met my needs perfectly. I took off a star because the mount is wobbly when you use the cord (and don’t run electrical through the wall). But overall love the style. My husband and I went back and forth on the placement. The fact that you can adjust the lamps by tilting them left, right, or 180° up, helped us reach a compromise. I swapped out the lights with Phillips Hue so I can dim them.. Anonymous. Transform your bedroom with the radiance of the Roswell Wall Sconce by NOVA of California. This plug-in sconce, part of the Roswell collection, exudes an air of intrigue with its harmonious blend of matte black and dark walnut finishes. The distinctive white linen orb shade casts a soft and diffused glow, creating an enchanting ambiance. Elevate your wall decor with the Roswell Wall Sconce, a captivating luminary that brings a unique charm to your living space. The shade is made of durable Shinpuru-sa fabric and will not perforate or dent easily like the rice paper alternatives. *Note: These shades are handmade and hand-stitched -- they are not mass-produced and therefore are not perfectly uniform. Each shade is unique, embracing the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi - the beauty of imperfection. If you prefer mass-produced perfection, this design may not be the best fit for you, but we love it.

The lamp is OK, but the build quality is poor. The metal frame for the shade doesn’t attach securely and stays crooked. I had to use tape to keep it straight. The dimmer is placed about a foot from the lamp, so if you mount it on the wall, you end up with a big black box hanging below it. It looks bad. I expected more. This is a Wayfair product, not AllModern. AllModern is just Wayfair with different branding to seem more premium. Shipping was rough. The styrofoam shattered into tiny pieces and got everywhere. Not impressed.. Anonymous. Sun Apr 20 2025

Influenced by Bauhaus and later mid-century aesthetics, Leif captures both form and function. The circular shade projects ample light on the wall behind it and gives this plug-in wall sconce a graphic element that makes it feel like artwork. The muted tones of the patina brass and soft blue or soft sand give the piece an earthy vibe. The bottom arm of the two-light sconce rotates for added versatility.
