I was concerned the pillow back would translate to poor lumbar support, but it's firm enough to provide good support while still being cushy. I'm 5'7" and the chair is a great fit for me - I can rest my head on the back of the chair. My husband is 6'7" and sits almost a head higher than the back, but that's unfortunately unavoidable for him. He said it's still really comfortable, and the seat is deep enough to accommodate his long legs. However, the power recline stopped working at one point while fully extended, and I was only able to get it working again by unplugging and plugging it back in.
