I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. I was skeptical about ordering a vanity online but the quality exceeded my expectations. We have had this installed for about a year and a half and it still looks good. The wood veneer is beautiful and appears durable so far. Overall a solid piece and we will be buying a matching one for the other bathroom in our house. Only complaint is that the quartz? top is hard to clean. There are always water marks/rings etc on it that never come off. Absolutely stunning. We assembled it mostly except for the back splash. It all came together on a pallet and was pretty much put together already! Took my husband 10 or so minutes... the quality is phenomenal. My only complaint is the sink color doesn’t quite match the brilliant white of the marble... maybe once we’ve put the sink in and see it all together it will blend better than seeing it separate. See photos. The doors and “shelving” are very nice, great storage capacity. Can’t wait to install it in our guest bath. (I’m considering getting the same styled double vanity for our master!). Robyn.
