Im very surprised. While nightstands often hold smaller items, theres no excuse for thin, average-at-best drawer bottoms in such an expensive, otherwise solid wood and beautiful piece. It's so pretty. Very heavy and works on our space. However, for how expensive it is the hardware is not that smooth. You have to slam the drawers shut and try a few times, and also kind of lift the drawer to open it.
