Had several issues out of the box. The frame at the bottom was coming apart, and in the process pulling the doors out of alignment. There was a broken chip near one of the door hingers. Several cracks in the side and top. Since it would be a hassle trying to return it, and I plan on using it as a printer stand, I've patched it up myself and added some screws to hold the bottom together. Gorgeous dresser! It came fully assembled, just had to screw in the feet. Its is solid wood and super heavy. The hardware is the perfect brass color, not like a fake gold. The craftsmanship is high quality, it is very well made, the rattan is flawless. It has so much interior space! My other dresser was actually a little bigger but this can hold more. There is a lot of color variation in the wood grain. The description doesnt say what type of wood but it looks like maybe poplar or mango wood. Overall I like the look and functionality of this dresser. Took approximately 4 hours to put together but instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the drawers are quite loud.
