Great fan once it actually got up. We had a really difficult time affixing the fan base to the mounting plate. Took us about an hour to finally get it there. LOVE the fan. Super sleek and quiet with nice airflow. I will say the installation was a bit more complicated than expected. The directions are generic for all fans, so you need to make adjustments if you don't have the light fixture option. Also, it was difficult to thread the wires and the pin through the down rod. The first light fixture arrived smashed, but customer service replaced it in only 4 days. The light looks great in our living room, and we are really happy with it. It looks fresh and modern compared to the old-fashioned ceiling fan that was there. I took off a star because the installation was so difficult. My husband had to drill out the bracket holes so that the screws would fit, and it was really hard to line up the base onto the screws. You may want to consider professional installation. Excellent for my 20+ ft ceiling of the living and sitting great room. Sleek look but super light as it’s plastic. Electrician had no problems for a quick install. Did come with 6” down rod so I had to purchase the 12 and 18 elsewhere to find the right fit, not much of an addl cost and easy to find in 1” diameter, swapped them out myself.
