Unfortunately, when the boxes arrived, the bag containing all the hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, etc,) was not sealed and the pieces were loose in the box. Luckily we did not see any damage to the wood due to hardware scratching it in transit. However, when the box was opened the hardware piece's rolled out everywhere. The mattress seems suspended in air although it rests on a slight yet sturdy structure set on slender metal feet. The edges of the whole bed have been trimmed with a fabric band detail which accentuates the superior textile workmanship of the product.
