I bought the oak table from Wayfair a few months ago. I ordered a walnut sideboard, which seemed to match the table in the pictures from Wayfair, but it did not. I couldn’t return it because it had been assembled but I have another place. It can go. This new sideboard is oak and it matches perfectly. I took these pictures on the day that I received the sideboard so no candles or vases or statues are on it yet. I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. It's a really nice looking cabinet, spacious, and even magnetic on the outside. It's perfect for easily accessible storage. Assembly was really difficult. A lot of holes/screws were mis-sized and didn't align. I couldn't manage it myself so had to get a Taskrabbit with the proper tools to help, who was able to get it done quickly.
