Purchased for a client's kitchen and it is exactly as pictured. Comfortable to sit in, with a firm upholstery seat. The swivel is not too "loose" which means that the seat stays put when you're getting in and out. The seat swivels with just the right amount of effort and the base does not extend past the seat when turned, so no uncomfortable pokes to the legs. This chair has honestly become my new favorite spot in the house. It’s incredibly comfortable, and the oversized seat gives you plenty of room to curl up, stretch out or sit however you want.
