Each color has an hombre effect that I didn’t even notice in the pictures that actually amps up the overall beauty of the collection. They’re almost exactly as advertised. The plates are described to have a matte finish but they really have a have a pearly shine finish. I am a bit disappointed this is not the look I was going for but I looked for so long, finally piled the trigger on these that I don’t feel like returning and finding others. The organic-shaped edges are very well done, not awkward at all to eat from. They seem durable. I just don’t like the pearlized finish.
