Nice looking light. You have to arrange the arms to fit within slots in the cap that goes on the bottom, which was more difficult to line up than you'd expect. But it's a good, solid fixture and providers a lot of light, which is what we needed. We wanted to use globe shaped bulbs to match the vanity fixture, and candelabra bases work in this fixture.. It took a while before my contractor had a chance to installed it and we found that the light could be defective as it could not be turned off (only became very dim) or turn up as bright as a normal lamp . It also flickered randomly every now and then. Unfortunately by the time we found out about the problem, it passed the date for return. I guess I am stuck with a lemon.
