Now I have to be really careful if I plan to change the bulb in the future. If took a while and some patience to get the bulb in and have it work without breaking the fixture further. Very happy with the price vs. what they look like in person. Pretty easy to install aside from having to cut the main cord and then having the nylon to get to the wires, and then recut the wires to have them exposed properly. I installed three over our kitchen island, and (embarrassingly) I actually dropped one because it was not fully secured to the ceiling. When it hit the counter. I expected it to shatter, or have a major dent in it, since the counter quartz and the outside of the light is some meta., but it did not show any major signs of deformation. Its a nice lamp. It was easy to assemble. Came with plenty of cord. I bought a 100w equivalent LED Edison style bulb which looks very nice and retro. Biggest complaint was the cord catch that reduces strain on the wiring was made of plastic. It shredded when trying to unscrew it. I had to swag the lamp over so it doesnt quite matter in my situation. It is a design flaw that the manufacturer could fix by replacing that teeny-tiny part with metal.. Chris. Washington.
