I'm definitely happy with my purchase; they look great over my island! Theses are gorgeous fixtures, we have 2 over half of a 10’ length of island, (the other half has a skylight over it). They provide more than enough light, spaced about 18” apart and suspended about 30” above a 36” high countertop. We have 100 watt equivalent LED lamps inside. The fixtures have a cap that is on the top, essentially covering about 20% of the globe, but the overall effect is a nice glow on the walls and ceiling, exactly what we were hoping for. It’s nice but funky to get it lined up right. Assembly wasn’t hard. You have to do minor adjustments to get all the parts lined up right.
