Absolutely gorgeous table! I love the matte finish that allows the beauty of the wood grain, knots, and other natural characteristics of the wood to shine. The legs are substantial and look sleek without distracting from the beauty of the tabletop. Delivery was wonderful (thank you, Lathrop team!) and assembly was quick. The only reason for the docked star is that my tabletop arrived with a crack that begins on the edge and extends to the underside of the solid wood top. Amazing Table! We just moved into our new home and ordered the large one and it looks as pictured. As others have mentioned, the table is quite heavy and can be hard to move but there’s no complaints there. The table did have a small chip upon the delivery drivers opening it but we were able to get that handled with customer service easily. Relatively happy with this purchase. As others have mentioned it's two pieces and the top is extremely heavy. The whole thing weighs like 175 pounds and most of that is in the table top so putting it together with two people is probably a good idea. The reason for the 4 stars is that it doesn't look as nice as it does in the photos. Specifically I wanted to get concrete because I wanted a piece that's obviously concrete and shows imperfections to get an industrial/brutalist look. The finish is like a solid gray color that could easily mistaken for painted wood. I actually ended up sanding off some of the finish to get more of the imperfections to show, there's a lighter rougher look when I did that which I think looks better. Sanding probably makes it more susceptible to damage if something spills but I think it was worth it. Not dissatisfied per se, but it looks very different than what the images are on the website and I probably would have bought something else had I known. I ordered the table for its flexibility and that it looks solid and well, ship-shape. I was very pleased that the delivery team agreed to assemble the table. They put all the leaves in (except the narrow leaf that has the hole for the umbrella, which I will not be using indoors). It is possible to remove a leaf to square up the table as described on the website, but it took more effort than this elderly customer could muster. A visiting friend pulled out the extra leaf and squared it up for me. After almost one year, this table is holding up well. The first table delivered was damaged and after sending photos, AllModern helped with replacement impressively fast. The table that I received was not exactly the same as that in the image of the product page -- the table I received has much more rounded corners with curved overall shape than the more rectangle shape. Having said that, it is holding up well in the Pacific NW rain -- I keep it covered. The edges can dent easily if you bang it with chairs when pushing the chairs in. Teak will work due to the weather conditions. Think of cracks and hairline cracks and getting your own, silver-gray color. All this makes the wood tough to look at.
