The table itself is super light so hopefully it doesn’t get blown away in a windstorm. I wish it was solid, but the weight does make it portable. The table material does have a bit of a sparkle to it, which I was surprised by. So a bit more futuristic than I expected. I really wish there was a matching sofa and chair set to go with it. I ordered the table for its flexibility and that it looks solid and well, ship-shape. I was very pleased that the delivery team agreed to assemble the table. They put all the leaves in (except the narrow leaf that has the hole for the umbrella, which I will not be using indoors). It is possible to remove a leaf to square up the table as described on the website, but it took more effort than this elderly customer could muster. A visiting friend pulled out the extra leaf and squared it up for me. After almost one year, this table is holding up well. The first table delivered was damaged and after sending photos, AllModern helped with replacement impressively fast. The table that I received was not exactly the same as that in the image of the product page -- the table I received has much more rounded corners with curved overall shape than the more rectangle shape. Having said that, it is holding up well in the Pacific NW rain -- I keep it covered. The edges can dent easily if you bang it with chairs when pushing the chairs in.
