I probably would have changed my mind and put it outside on the line to get a better chance of airing out, except I worked my tail off to get it under my very heavy bed frame with an unwieldy mattress, so it's there until I move or die. The color is a bit darker in person than it looked online, but honestly, that works in its favor—it has a really rich, modern look that goes great with our floors. The texture and pile height are exactly what we were hoping for—plush enough to feel nice underfoot but not so thick that it’s in the way. The quality feels solid, and it lays flat right out of the packaging. One important tip: You absolutely need a skid-proof rug pad if you’re putting this on wood floors. Without one, it will slide around. Given the pile height, I’d recommend a low-profile rug pad to avoid any clearance issues if you’re placing it in a hallway with doors that swing over it. One thing to note: it does show lint and dust pretty easily, but that’s just the tradeoff with a darker rug. A quick vacuum keeps it looking sharp. Overall, we’re really happy with it. I like this rug and am pleased enough to keep it, but I deducted a star because the rug was described as being a mix of Gray/Blue/Beige, and the website photo clearly shows blue tones. However, there are no blue tones in the rug I received. It includes different shades of gray and beige, but no blue. That was quite disappointing, as the blue tones were a big part of why I selected this rug. I have only had the rug for a few days, but the quality seems good.
