Absolutely gorgeous table! I love the matte finish that allows the beauty of the wood grain, knots, and other natural characteristics of the wood to shine. The legs are substantial and look sleek without distracting from the beauty of the tabletop. Delivery was wonderful (thank you, Lathrop team!) and assembly was quick. The only reason for the docked star is that my tabletop arrived with a crack that begins on the edge and extends to the underside of the solid wood top. This table is pretty great although it stains very easily, almost like there is no sealer on it. The other negative is we kept having problems with Wayfair sending us the right one. This was for a cabin so each time it was a wrong order, it was another drive that was wasted. Wayfair really didn't do much to compensate. The overall dimensions of the table are well-thought-out and should work well for seating 6 people comfortably. We purchased the shorter version of this table, so if you're thinking about fitting 8 people at the table, you should definitely consider the longer version. Also, we paid for the delivery team to unpack and assemble the legs for the table, so, unfortunately, I cannot comment on the assembly instructions. This dining table is simply the best. Assembly was easy, I suggest to have atleast another person on standby to help when it times to stand the table. Because this table is not light at all. I was able to stand it myself but with difficulties and was scared it might damages because that would be the last thing you want is to damage this beautiful dining table. I only wish that the matching chairs and the bench was included with this table. Because those items are expensive but im not surprised because this table is top tier. This table can hold weight.
