Curved Fireplace Screen

The ashi firewood basket, designed by German Kaschkasch, has proven yet again that even the most useful, everyday object can be clever, elegant, and deserving of appreciation. The basket is black powder-coated steel and features either a blackened oak wood handle or a brown oak wood handle.

Log wood carrier is sturdy! I suspected the veneer handle would be more decorative but it seems more than up to the job of carrying wood. It is very clean and a nice addition to our wood burning fire place. I recommend!. Taylor. Eau Claire, WI. Thu Apr 27 2023

Whether it's your room, your patio or your fence, the Veradek Screen Series with its perfect balance of design, durability and convenience features a modern geometric design which is the perfect fit to create privacy, be used as a separator or fill out an empty space. The panels are made from a durable plastic and the stand is made from a thick gauge steel, making it impact, crack and scratch resistant. All Veradek products are extreme weather tested, so you can rest assured that your privacy screen can withstand the harshest conditions. The screen set also comes with the necessary hardware and instructions to easily craft your next favorite piece of outdoor furniture.

I bought these to convert to summer window screens on my 1958 house in Albuquerque, NM. In the summer, the morning sun hits my back windows directly and puts a lot of heat into the house (and I don't want to replace the original steel window frames). I cut the feet off of the screens and made brackets from 1.5" aluminum angle to attach to the window trim, plus legs to support the weight. The screens are very heavy, and the plastic geometric sections are fairly thick, which is nice. The frame is sturdy and the black finish is durable. Although the description says that these can't be painted, Rustoleum 2X seemed to adhere after scuffing the surface with a Scotchbrite pad and acetone. (We'll have to see how it holds up over the summer.) My only issue with these is that the panels bow in the sun. These are made in Canada, so maybe they're designed for Canadian sun and not the high desert. :) It could be exacerbated by the fact that I have the frame horizontal, but the panels were bowing when I had them individually upright to spray paint. I would have tried the steel ones but was less confident that I'd be able to get the rust off for a clean painting surface. It would be great if these were offered in a primed steel option for painting. Overall I'd say these are pretty nice, but would work better in a shaded area, or go with the metal version.. James. Designed by german kaschkasch, has proven yet again that even the most useful, everyday object can be clever, elegant, and deserving of appreciation. The set includes the t-stand, tong, poker, shovel, and brush. The wooden handles feature a strong built-in magnet that holds the tools securely to the stand when not in use. The complete toolset becomes a decorative item in your living space. Ashi is available in two styles black powder-coated steel – with a blackened oak wood handle or with a brown oak wood handle. The fireplace tool set coordinates beautifully with the ASHI firewood basket. A collection name could not be more fitting as the term ASHI comes from the Japanese word meaning reed. The shape of ASHI is inspired by the swaying reeds that grow in abundance in shallow water; the handle has a similar contour, and the stick resembles the strong, hollow stems that have been used for centuries as a material for the production of baskets.

Love pairing it with the black container by Blomus. I think it looks very modern and clean. They seem sturdy yet light. Looking forward to using for my wood burning fire place. The magnetic feature is nifty as well. This product came as expected and is worth the price in my opinion.. Taylor. Eau Claire, WI. Thu Apr 27 2023

I am so happy I went with this shower panel. I had been looking for a while for something to fit this space. As you can see from the photos it’s not a massive shower. This is in the master bedroom however and I really wanted something with some style and that could fit the space. This worked perfectly. My contractors had no issues with the insulation. Delivery was excellent. Well package as well. Definitely recommend purchasing this if you are on the fence.. Tamer. Washington. Wed Apr 09 2025

Whether it's your patio, deck or the balcony, the Veradek Privacy Screen Series in Corten Steel with its perfect balance of design, durability and convenience features a modern geometric design which is the perfect fit to create privacy, be used as a separator or fill out an empty space. Its thick gauge corten steel construction ensures that rust develops on the surface of the planter ensuring the structural integrity of the screen body for years of use. The raw steel will rust and develop a rich patina that will add a pop of color to any outdoor space. During the initial rusting phase, rust will drip from the surface of the screen. Veradek recommends placing an appropriate protective barrier between the screen and ground to ensure no stains are left behind

I think the quality is very good. It takes a little bit of patience and understanding to put it together. We put it on a western side of a deck to keep some of the bright western sun that’s coming down from being too strong and it works well. I am OK with waiting for it to rust, but if you don’t have patience to do that you might be disappointed.. Susan. Kalispell, MT. Tue Jul 28 2026

Color was surprising different when delivered. - distressed metal with no color which is different when shown in pictures. Assembly was easy, but there are no instructions in the delivery package. You need to go to manufacturer website to guide you through assembling. Allen wrench is too small. I suggest getting a longer wrench key. Assemble with caution as each part can have sharp edges. Base feet assembly could be sturdier. Once assembled, display looks great as an accent to your space.. Jeff. Fri Nov 03 2023

This panel works perfectly in our guest bathroom. I had a general contractor install it, and he installed it alone in about 30 minutes. The panel has great thickness and covers a good portion of the tub. I imagine there will be a little splash from the shower, but it’s worth it considering how you can see the beautiful tile surround as it is no longer hiding behind a shower curtain. I definitely recommend this panel.. Andi. Novi, MI. Mon Dec 02 2024

It's cute. It was a bit hard to put it together and definitely needed 2 people to slide into its final place because of its weight. But it's solid and we are not scared of it ever falling down, especially after anchoring it down with our raised garden bed in front and our HVAC system behind it. I can tell once the metal rusts over it will be absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to see my morning glories and moon flower climb up it as they grow. Great purchase!. Erica. Clermont, FL. Divide the room without killing the flow. Garbo turns open spaces into zones, giving you privacy when you want it and openness when you don’t. Three tall panels fold and fan out on smooth hinges, so you can angle light, block a doorway, or frame a corner. A solid rubber wood frame supports high-gloss lacquer over MDF in a rich deep olive finish. Move it once, and the layout feels newly intentional in any room.
