These pendants are a great addition for a small island countertop (7ft). They really elevated the aesthetic of the lights in our kitchen. You can use any A19 bulb, but we ended up using Edison bulbs to dim the lighting from the pendants. If you're a tall person, make sure you hang them at an ideal height, as the glass does not block all light and will hit your eye level and will not be pleasant -- part of the reason we chose to use Edison bulbs.. Be aware that if you don't have the pendant ready electrical, you will need to install a pendent conversion kit for recessed lighting, which requires a few tools and a capable hand. We have two hanging above the dining room table and they look very nice. The bulb provided is a bit too white for the coloring of the lamp so looking to switch to a warmer hue. It doesn't work for me. My hall is rather small for this giant glass piece. This requires more space in the hall than I have. The glass is huge, my hall is very tight. I didn't realize this thing was so huge. It works for someone that has more of an open area to put it in because I'm telling you the glass is huge. Was packed very, very well w/no damage but it's just too large for my hallway. I'm having a rough time finding light fixtures. I don't want to buy bulbs, they're too hard to find now days. I was hoping this would work but so much for that idea! My house is only 1600 sf so a lot of tighter spaces than this can accommodate. First let me just say this was packaged really well! This 3 pendant light was very easy to install and lightweight. The fixture does not come with light bulbs but they were super easy to find, small and use less energy than the light fixture I had installed prior so this was a huge plus. The ambient lighting is just what I was looking for to replace florescent lighting. This would be perfect if the wiring wasn’t being covered with a black fabric as opposed to what I originally thought was black metal. I don’t love the way the fabric somewhat bends I’d prefer it to look more taut and straight. Otherwise it’s a beautiful and simple light fixture. Beautiful! Exactly as described. A bit smaller than I expected but the measurements are accurate. Very elegant with the white insert to diffuse the light. It's not very bright, but i put in a slightly brighter bulb and that helps.. Michael. San Diego. Thu Dec 14 2023
