The 1st Baron Bourchier was born several hundred years too late to enjoy hanging NUT throughout his shadowy castle. Which is a pity, because the granny knot on which NUT is based sat proudly on the heraldic badge of the Bourchier family. We however are fortunate to live in an era when NUT can adorn our own little castles; a powerful symbol of our exquisite breeding. Very happy with the design and quality of the fixture, and it provides just the right amount of light over my dining table. However I was disappointed to find there were only two vertical rods included. One is 12" and the other is 6" providing only 18" of length from the ceiling. My own fault for not reviewing the specifications more thoroughly, but it seems like an insufficient amount for many installations, including mine. I'm hoping to be able to obtain another matching rod from the manufacturer. If not, sadly, it will be going back.. Daniel. Arlington, MA. Sun Jan 25 2026

Layered + luminous. This pendant light features a tiered metal shade design inspired by sculptural mid-century forms. Each layer is finished to resemble natural wood grain, creating warm tonal depth and a soft, diffused glow. An adjustable hanging height and sloped-ceiling compatibility make it easy to tailor the look to your space.

Beautiful. Well designed and well constructed. Very straightforward installation. The fixture weight is appropriately supported and the colors correctly match the sales photo and description. Only four stars because although the fixture uses an E26 standard base, the bulb shape required is a T type. Even with a T10 LED at a 100W equivalent and 1100 lumens at a color temperature of 3000K, it is still far too dim to use as a standalone light fixture over a dining table, island, or anything else really. I installed it in my home office and have to rely on additional lighting. I can barely tell it’s on in the daytime and puts out as much light as a small night light in the evening.. Ryan.
