This rug is very soft and high quality. It makes our living room pop. The only thing I don’t like is that it sheds pretty bad. We’ve had it out for ~3 weeks and it needs vacuumed every 3 days and fills our vacuum up twice before it’s done. Hopefully the shedding is less over time. For now the vacuuming is worth it. The rug is exactly as advertised. The yellow is slightly less golden than it appears in the product page, but it matches the review photos, so I knew what I was getting. The quality and texture is exactly as expected and I'm very happy with that. What I'm less than thrilled with is the fact that it came stinking to high heaven. It must have been stored in a warehouse that was positively filled to the brim with cigarette smoke with a healthy dose of diesel exhaust. It'll take some washing and airing out to get rid of it, and even then I don't know how long it'll take. It's stunk up the whole room and into the hallway. I probably would have changed my mind and put it outside on the line to get a better chance of airing out, except I worked my tail off to get it under my very heavy bed frame with an unwieldy mattress, so it's there until I move or die. Revised 36-the rug looked nice, but it won’t stop shedding. Also, the letter print on the band on the underside has transferred to the carpet. It came out with my carpet cleaner machine, but a hassle. I taped all of the letters with blue painters tape to provide a barrier. All-in-all, I hope the rug stops shedding soon, or I will have nothing left. Pretty! This rug came packaged really well, no odor and no stain spots as others mentioned. It is plush and well made. Glad I took a chance because I had my eye on this for a while.
