I would give this product 5 stars except the 12” length of the matching metal cord cover leaves a lot of the cord exposed. This is not clear from the picture of the product. It looks odd with only 12” of the cord covered. The sconce is great but the cord cover needs to be longer or have the option to add more coverage. This dimmable sconce nestles a mid-century-style globe shade into a hemispherical steel cap, for an updated look that evokes a half moon. It’s crafted from frosted glass that’s evenly illuminated by an included LED bulb. Install it facing down for task lighting, or up for a more ambient glow.

The lights look great and we love them, however, there are a few things that aren’t visible in the stock photos I’ll point out that. First, they have a bit of a textured finish to them which you can’t really discern in the photos. It’s not bad, but unfortunately it doesn’t match the other fixtures in the bathroom that we have them in. Secondly, there are some white ‘bumpers’ to protect the glass globe sandwiched between the globe and the metal housing. This sconce is really elegant and well priced. I love that the switch is positioned in a hidden but convenient spot, and the swing arm is smooth. The whole thing feels sturdy and looks great and lights up my reading corner. I will say that installing is sort of annoying, since you need the wall screws to be VERY close to the wall so the weight of the arm doesn’t shift the whole light.
