This table is pretty great although it stains very easily, almost like there is no sealer on it. The other negative is we kept having problems with Wayfair sending us the right one. This was for a cabin so each time it was a wrong order, it was another drive that was wasted. Wayfair really didn't do much to compensate. Assembly couldn’t have been much easier—just attach the legs with the included Allen wrench and it’s ready to go. The table feels very solid and has a nice, substantial weight to it. I also love how long it is, making it great for larger family dinners. My only minor complaint is that the wood grain on the extension leaves is noticeably different from the rest of the tabletop. We purchased this table a few months ago and have been trying to “just live with it” since then. Out of the box we were optimistic but it sadly hasn’t grown on us. The finish is flat, the glazing has a number of imperfections (one quite noticeable on the top) and the stain is generally very far from what was pictured. Our dining room has various dark woods/walnut stains - from the floors, chairs, picture frames etc. We completely understood it would not match perfectly, but we’ve never quite seen this color brown. Honestly, it’s hard not to feel a little duped by the pictures. We have various other pieces by FourHands and they have been a go-to of ours when outfitting apartments (and now, our house).
