It's a really nice looking cabinet, spacious, and even magnetic on the outside. It's perfect for easily accessible storage. Assembly was really difficult. A lot of holes/screws were mis-sized and didn't align. I couldn't manage it myself so had to get a Taskrabbit with the proper tools to help, who was able to get it done quickly. I bought the oak table from Wayfair a few months ago. I ordered a walnut sideboard, which seemed to match the table in the pictures from Wayfair, but it did not. I couldn’t return it because it had been assembled but I have another place. It can go. This new sideboard is oak and it matches perfectly. I took these pictures on the day that I received the sideboard so no candles or vases or statues are on it yet. Really beautiful piece. Solidly made; everything has a feel of higher-end quality. Hickory finish is similar to a white oak color, with color variations that look lovely in person and add to the organic modern vibe of the piece. Pulls are leather (hard to see in the photos). Nice console with good design aesthetically. First console arrived with doors not aligned well and a replacement order was placed which was appreciated. Took ~2 months for the delivery of replacement and it arrived nicely for the most part. The white glove chipped a part of one of the doors and AllModern provided a partial refund. A couple things I would complain about is that the magnetic attachments for the doors do not align as well as it should be. Especially for a $1500 piece. I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle.
