I ordered a sideboard from Allmodern. First delivery the item was damaged and I did not accept delivery. The wood was cracked and peeling away on the bottom of the unit in a very visible area. There was alot of back and forth about whether another unit was available. I finally received a replacement. It too was damaged with some small gouges in the wood of the doors and around the edges. The wood was chipped along the bottom edge above the leg. There were a few red streaks like sharpie marker on the side of the unit. One door was not attached but the delivery men were able to fix it. There was a lot of rearranging of existing furniture to make room for the new piece which had to be put back while waiting for the replacement. Didn’t want to go through it a third time so I accepted the second piece at a 20% discount. Still had to pay over $1400 for damaged goods. I guess it’s not realistic to think that a new piece of furniture should arrive in good condition. I do like the piece of furniture but would expect undamaged goods and much less hassle. I was looking for something to place over my dog kennel to better utilize the space. The console is a very solid, sturdy piece of furniture overall, and very easy to put together! As some other buyers have said, be aware that the drawers aren't a perfect fit and are a different color than the console. Also, the finish of the console appears as more of a painted tan over wood than a true 'light wood' finish. That said, for the price, it's exactly what I expected.
