The rug is exactly as advertised. The yellow is slightly less golden than it appears in the product page, but it matches the review photos, so I knew what I was getting. The quality and texture is exactly as expected and I'm very happy with that. What I'm less than thrilled with is the fact that it came stinking to high heaven. It must have been stored in a warehouse that was positively filled to the brim with cigarette smoke with a healthy dose of diesel exhaust. It'll take some washing and airing out to get rid of it, and even then I don't know how long it'll take. It's stunk up the whole room and into the hallway. I probably would have changed my mind and put it outside on the line to get a better chance of airing out, except I worked my tail off to get it under my very heavy bed frame with an unwieldy mattress, so it's there until I move or die. Really happy with our custom length runner, good quality with thick pile. That said, there are a couple spots where there was a mild defect --gunky residue on the surface I was able to cut off and a hard lump within the rug, at the base of the pile. Absolutely perfect. Excellent size well packaged. I was able to move it and unload it and unroll it all by myself, and it was very well made and very heavy. It’s flattening out nicely. It has no weird smell. Yes it’s shedding but it’s supposed to for one year it’s wool and well made. The price point was unbeatable. This size rug usually sells for a lot more. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality. Very pleased don’t be discouraged because it sheds it only sheds when you’re sweeping. Do be aware if you have kids and you want to get down on the floor with them it is wool. It’s not soft, fluffy.. This rug is very soft and high quality. It makes our living room pop. The only thing I don’t like is that it sheds pretty bad. We’ve had it out for ~3 weeks and it needs vacuumed every 3 days and fills our vacuum up twice before it’s done. Hopefully the shedding is less over time. For now the vacuuming is worth it.
