We debated these chairs because we wanted something that would be comfortable even without a cushion. These meet the test. They are simple, stack easily, look nice and are, importantly, quite comfortable (including easy to get into and out of.) This table is gorgeous. I wanted a solid wood table top, not a veneer. It looks black in the photos, but in real life it's very dark with brown undertones in the stain. The effect is gorgeous, but definitely not black up close. I did have an issue with the hardware during assembly: needed to go out and purchase longer screws (4) and additional washers (12). This is the only time I've ever had an issue assembling an AllModern piece. Luckily it was only a $7 trip to the hardware store to fix so I didn't need to get Customer Service involved, but the assembly/hardware for this product needs to be reviewed. Great table. I love it. Looks like the picture. Good size too, and the narrowness of the base seems better than the wide ones that'd annoy my feet for sure. The base is flat, so expect it to wobble on some carpet. If you don't mind floating it an inch above the floor, you can add feet to fix that wobble.
