The hanging dowel features an embedded screw into the wood which would be inserted into a wall anchor for secure placement but does not come with any wall anchors. Securing your artwork into a wall stud or into a wall anchor is recommended for stability and support for the weight of this piece. We are not responsible for faulty installation or inadequate wall anchors. Install tip! The closer the screw is to the wall the more snug the fit!
