I got it on sale and for the price, I think it was overall a decent purchase. It's solid wood (I think poplar) and I appreciate the beveled detail and relief. It was easy to assemble but required 2 people. On the downside, the parts came covered in a weird white powdery substance, which I assume is the result of sanding the white stain. It took a while to wipe it all down with a damp cloth. I'm just hoping it is not toxic. I wish they had more information on the finishes they use. Also, there are some natural dark spots on the wood (mostly on the inside side), which bothered me but not enough to return it. When assembled, the corners are not totally flush. As mentioned in other reviews, the color is not quite right on the product info. In person, it is darker, less saturated and has more grey tones than the photo suggest.. Vanessa. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is that the mattress springs are black. Meaning until you use this as a toddler bed, you need a bed skirt to cover it. Definitely should be white. Everything else is great. My husband and I put it together in about an hour with no issues. I agree with other reviews that the finish scratches easily, so we built it on a blanket.. Anne. We wanted a mini crib that would fit in our bedroom as we live in one bedroom condo. The only one available in Canada was from bloom alma that would cost around $450 plus the cost of mattress but baby can use it maximum a year. We knew babyletto mini crib is the perfect size and reviews mentioned we can use it till baby is about 2 years. We had to pay a lot in import duties and taxes but it was worth it. The shipping and delivery were done on time. Assembly was not hard but wish the instructions were more precise. Paint on the crib easily chips, we have 2 chips already and we have not even started to use it yet. We got the dream on me 5 inch portable mattress from Amazon, the one inch pad that comes with the crib is useless, but we knew that reading the reviews.
