The fan is fantastic, and works great with google assistant. The breeze option for fan speed is really nice too. Some people have complained about the app, but I've had no issues with it. That said, after the first few days I stopped using it because it works so easily with voice command through google assistant! Construction is very nice, and very sturdy with real wood blades. Its a very nice fan. A little noisy when its on high but I suppose its due to the the metal cutting through the air. The con is that Minka-Aire is not a straight forward universal ceiling fan with light type of product. It is difficult to find the coordinating pieces. Not all lighting kits work and not all Minka-Aire lighting kits work. Not all remote controls or wall mounted controls work nor Minka-Aire products. Has to be specific to the fan. It turned out to be quite a chore, not to mention expense, to get it just right. I like the fan, just not the trouble. I think this will be my last Minka-Aire purchase. . alfredo. This ceiling fan is safe to be mounted in dry places.
We got 2 of these ceiling fans and love them! They are quiet, and move the air around so well! Having the included wall switch is also a huge bonus. You can't buy a fan like this with the wall switch for this price anywhere else! You will need an electrician or someone who knows how to change/install receptacles though. The wall remote is not a remote in the sense that you can hold it in your hand. It is an actual switch for the wall, so if you don't have a switch for an existing wall fan this may not work for you.
