Maija Isola's Isot Kivet (stones) design builds on circles cut with scissors. The pattern was most likely inspired by the big rough-edged stones that were manually cleared from the designer's atelier home's grounds.
The Tiiliskivi (brick) pattern was designed by Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia in 1952. The pattern reflects her belief in the simple beauty of everyday life.
The dynamic stripe pattern Ralli (rally race), created by Maija Isola, was inspired by the streamlined tapings seen on traditional racecars. In the print, sophisticated vertical color blocks constitute a well-balanced design.

We're mad for plaid, and it's our pleasure to present this fresh new checkboard rug. Simple squares tell an ombréed story with cunning coloration. Like the rest of our durable and low-maintenance polypropylene rugs, it's washable -- you can scrub and hose it. Surprisingly soft and welcoming: perfect for porches, playrooms, patios, or any room that needs playful pops of color.
I absolutely love this rug. The colors are exactly as they appear in photo.. Taylor. Durham, NC. 2023-02-27 13:37:38

A subtle twist on timeless black + white checkerboard, this area rug showcases a slightly stretched pattern built from rectangles instead of squares. It’s handcrafted from cotton in a low flatweave style that’s ideal for rolling out in busy spaces. Add a rug pad to hold it in place.
