Bangbouh Studio is a design studio located in Athens, Ohio. The Bangbouh designers are educated in fine art including painting, sculpture, photography, and visual communication. They often begin with sketches on a computer and work as a team to create the finished work. They are most influenced by early modernism but are always continuing to grow and change.
Michael Schauer is a German-based self-taught photographer who grew up in the mountains and forests so naturally, he specializes in the northern and more remote parts of the planet. Michael describes his work as cinematic as well as calm. He tries to keep the colors fairly natural and the post-processing to a minimum - only enhancing what's already there.
Jacques Pilon's career as art director for Shelter and Architectural magazines in Toronto honed his artistic and decorative eye. Exploring two-dimensional spatial relationships with form and color has always been his main interest. Drawing on restful colors and balanced design he gives us series like circles in squares and blue wash. His intention is to communicate a feeling, emotion, or energy that speaks to and engages the viewer.
