My living room is 14x16x10(H) and this fan takes up about half the width of the ceiling. Great fan once it actually got up. We had a really difficult time affixing the fan base to the mounting plate. Took us about an hour to finally get it there. Excellent for my 20+ ft ceiling of the living and sitting great room. Sleek look but super light as it’s plastic. Electrician had no problems for a quick install. Did come with 6” down rod so I had to purchase the 12 and 18 elsewhere to find the right fit, not much of an addl cost and easy to find in 1” diameter, swapped them out myself. Received my ceiling fan on Thursday, had it installed on Friday, and it is absolutely stunning! I can’t stop looking at it! Reason for not giving a 5-star rating is because the light is extremely bright and it feels like it will induce a headache, so I will not be using the light feature very much.
