Fixture is beautiful in person. Very sleek and modern. Assembly started out difficult as we tried to get the globe on the base of the fixture we were unable to get our hands inside the globe because it was too narrow, then we discovered the black apparatus that was included that took care of that process by attaching it to the end cap piece and screwing it in the globe. It doesn't work for me. My hall is rather small for this giant glass piece. This requires more space in the hall than I have. The glass is huge, my hall is very tight. I didn't realize this thing was so huge. It works for someone that has more of an open area to put it in because I'm telling you the glass is huge. Was packed very, very well w/no damage but it's just too large for my hallway. I'm having a rough time finding light fixtures. I don't want to buy bulbs, they're too hard to find now days. I was hoping this would work but so much for that idea! My house is only 1600 sf so a lot of tighter spaces than this can accommodate.
