Box Spring

The Metal Smart Box Spring is an interesting product that ships in a long box and requires assembly at home. If you are handy or enjoy putting things together it’s probably for you! If you are not handy, assembling might be a bit challenging. I don’t recommend it for a latex mattress. I put my beloved Avocado Organic Latex Mattress on it and could feel the metal of the box spring beneath the gray fabric. I didn’t bother making the bed. I disassembled the frame, packed it up and will return it. My guess is that a traditional spring coil mattress, and a customer who likes putting things together, would a better match for this product. On the up side, it shipped in a long narrow box which makes it easy to carry upstairs.

This is exactly what I was looking for- no frills- just a way to lift my mattress.

This frame was VERY easy to put together and it took about 20 minutes, tops. My son just helped me put the frame on top of the bed frame. This frame is great and convenient. My only con is that the frame was a bit small for my king size bed. I just used some spare wooden 2by4s as a base and put the frame/slats on top. Other than that this is a well made item and my sleep has improved. I would definitely recommend this king size “box spring”. I am happy with my purchase. I needed this months ago. And the price was reasonable and GREAT! Thanks so much for an awesome product.
