I learned a lot as this was my first shower faucet and actually first ordered a positemp. Make sure you get the right valve type (moentrol or positemp). Moentrol is the type where you pull the valve to control flow and twist to control temp. Positemp is twist only. I also needed an adapter to get this to fit my older moentrol valve so keep that in mind.
