OMG I just received my new mailbox and it's even better looking in person than in the photos!! It's almost the same size as my old, ugly, brown mailbox. Yes it was a very expensive purchase and my husband thought I was crazy for spending so much on a mailbox, but it's seriously PERFECT! The robin egg part has a glossy finish, and the black metal has a matte textured finish. The mailbox itself is great... Although like another user, I added a piece behind the cutouts (in my case to prevent people from seeing that there is mail in there).
