This Made In carbon steel fry pan has been a great addition to my kitchen. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and is perfect for searing, frying, or quick saute cooking. Once it is hot, it holds heat really well and gives food a great crust. The seasoned surface performs nicely and keeps getting better with use. A reliable and versatile pan that I reach for often. I'm excited to see it broken in.

Underwhelming. We purchased as we had read that carbon steel pans are great for searing meats (eg post sous vide) and the promise of a natural nonstick surface. From day 1 it has not held up. We are going to try to re-season and give it another shot. But for a high priced pan, we expected more.
