Such good prices on these Kohler fixtures!

the product is fine i guess . but i wanted to return it because my plumber said it is hard to pair this with other kohler handheld showers. wayfair has really stupid returns or exchange policy. we bought it more than 30 days .. the plumbers didnt get go work on the bathroom until after 30days. so now im supposed to be stuck w this 65 elbow. and wasted my money

This is a fine, well constructed item, the chrome and brass are are well worth the money, the thing has some Weight to it! It is not some of the junk you can expect the receive in mail order. I am happy so far...now all I have to do is finish my shower to install,,,I am hopeful that it works as well as it appears! PS if you don't need the check valve function you can save a few $'s on the one without this function. Thank you Jos.

This is a very well built unit. Looks great (even though I have yet to install it). The compelling attribute for this unit is ease of installation. It comes with a pipe/nipple where one end is threaded, and screws into the 1/2 inch threaded female connector in your wall. The other end of the pipe has o-rings, and it simply slides into a cylindrical hole in the wall elbow and locks in with a set screw. The huge benefit of this approach is that the end that slides into the wall elbow has about 1/2 inch play - which means that you can adjust the dept, so the elbow fits snugly against the wall. There is a downside. The Wall Mount elbow come packaged with a fairly long pipe (which assumes that the threaded wall socket is mounted fairly far back from the tile face. If the wall socket is mounted nearer to the front of the tile face, then you need a smaller pipe - which you have to order from Kohler - added cost and time. But, it comes down to your time or your money. I value my time, so I bought this unit, althought there are less expensive units available.

Arrived loose inside larger box. Kohler box was untaped and appeared to have been an open box that was returned. Box should have been taped. Everything I order always arrives in a taped box these days, This is very bad method shipping an untaped manufacturers box.
