Emerson Bassinet Rocker

This is a perfect fit for my daughter and her family. Perfect size, sturdy and made well.

When it was delivered it was damaged and had dirt all in the bubble wrap and even inside the metal frame. Sounds like a baby rattle whenever it’s moved. Maybe that’s a perk? The tool that was supposed to be in the package wasn’t in there. It’s not a normal size hex key that you get with most diy furniture so we had to go to the store and buy a set. There isn’t much of an arch on the rockers so it makes it difficult to actually rock or rock more than 2 inches. It’s more of a jiggle your baby chair. It is a very firm chair, not a recline position in it at all. Had I known all of these issues before I wouldn’t have paid nearly as much, maybe $200.

It’s well made, very sturdy, very pretty. It doesn’t rock as much as I’d like, but it’ll do. My carpet is thick so that may be why.

This is such a great piece of furniture, a bassinet attached to a rocking chair is such a unique item! You can separate the two so when you don’t need the bassinet anymore you still have a rocking chair. I can’t wait for my baby and I to enjoy it! The only complaint and it has nothing to do with Wayfair is that the delivery company left it at the bottom of the stairs so I had to figure out how to get it up to my second story apartment and I’m 8 months pregnant.

Opened box and the chair back has a stain on it. Hopefully my wife can get it out of fabric, some kind of oil. Not a real big deal but annoying considering the cost. Rocking legs, one is loose in its mount. I will fix with a drilled hole and screw to tighten loose rocker, again not a real big issue but considering cost shouldn’t have shipped. Screws and washers provided, 1 screw is bent and chewed up would not even start into threads on base of chair and the washers you sent are tiny compared to holes countersunk in to legs. I replaced your screws with bolts and correct size washer for counter sunk hole which made it much better and much sturdier. My thoughts are your Quality control needs some training on what is acceptable and what is not. Considering cost of item disappointed in what was sent out, it should never have shipped until all these things were corrected. I have been a mechanic, a warehouse attendant, A purchasing agent and now a planner/scheduler, my Company does not send sub par items out and we are Number one in the business we are in. That all being said, you are lucky my wife didn’t do the review, somebody would have got an earful, her first grandchild and everything must be perfect.

It’s nice but was challenged to assemble the back did not fit properly of the rocking chair .
