Pivotal® Shower Faucet with H2Okinetic® Technology

Had contractor install 2 showers the T17T299 and the 51799 see attached photo the 51799 works flawlessly the T17T299 has many problems mixing cold and hot is a chore and never works out the same and it drips. Is there a repair for this or does the entire system need to be replaced
