Arne Jacobsen's City Hall table clock was originally designed for Rodovre Town Hall in 1956. What makes the City Hall clock so popular is its universal expression, which is why it was obvious to make a table clock version of it. As well as adding a decorative touch anywhere in a home, the clock also has all the necessary alarm-clock features, such as alarm, snooze, and light. Thanks to a sensor, you can activate both light and snooze with a slight movement of the hand above the clock. The table clock illustrated here is in pale orange.

Arne Jacobsen created the Station table clock in 1939 in connection with a project for the electrical goods manufacturer LK. Since then, the table clock with reference to the original drawings has been updated to bring it in line with today's standards for alarm clocks. Accordingly, the clock has a light and a snooze function, both controlled touch-free thanks to an invisible sensor at the top of the clock.

This alarm clock is stunning. Well designed, and feels well made. Deep sleepers might prefer a louder sound, and if you need to change the alarm time every day/few days, it's a tiny bit of a hassle having to take off the back panel to do that each time.. Victor. Jersey City, NJ. Mon Dec 15 2025
