Brabantia’s NewIcon step can, 7.9 gallons (30L) has an iconic design and is a reliable worker too. Sturdy, and always stands strong because of its non-slip base and anti-tilting block. Thanks to the unique soft-closure feature, it closes smoothly. And of course, this NewIcon step trash can is hygienic, odor-proof, easy to open, and clean. Perfect for your kitchen or any other room that could use 8 gallons of timeless design.

Great product! Replacing one I bought over 20 years ago that the metal liner had finally rusted out but still looks great on the outside. Hope to get as many years with this new one. Anonymous. Sun Aug 30 2026

The internal hinge and space-efficient shape allow you to directly place this can against the wall and out of the way. The strong steel pedal is designed to last, and our patented lid Shox technology ensures a smooth, silent close every time. Our code Q custom fit liners fit this can perfectly — no bunching or slipping for a cleaner trash experience.

Love this trash can! It’s beautiful. Don’t ask me why I spent this much money on a trash can but I didn’t want a plastic ugly trash can messing up my beautiful kitchen. This baby is SLEEK! It just blends in and matches all my stainless steel appliances perfectly. I love how it can right up against any wall because it’s flat. The slow close feature is awesome. I love this trash can and to me it was worth every penny! It’s not completely fingerprint resistant but for the most part it stays finger print free. Natalie. Sat Oct 12 2019
