Designed by german kaschkasch, has proven yet again that even the most useful, everyday object can be clever, elegant, and deserving of appreciation. The set includes the t-stand, tong, poker, shovel, and brush. The wooden handles feature a strong built-in magnet that holds the tools securely to the stand when not in use. The complete toolset becomes a decorative item in your living space. Ashi is available in two styles black powder-coated steel – with a blackened oak wood handle or with a brown oak wood handle. The fireplace tool set coordinates beautifully with the ASHI firewood basket. A collection name could not be more fitting as the term ASHI comes from the Japanese word meaning reed. The shape of ASHI is inspired by the swaying reeds that grow in abundance in shallow water; the handle has a similar contour, and the stick resembles the strong, hollow stems that have been used for centuries as a material for the production of baskets.

Estimated delivery notifications are totally off. When I tried to assemble it broke right away. The stand had to be screwed into the base. Before even tightening the top into the base the screw snapped. Can’t even remove the screw from the stand as it is half broken in there. Needs to be returned. Very poor!

Love pairing it with the black container by Blomus. I think it looks very modern and clean. They seem sturdy yet light. Looking forward to using for my wood burning fire place. The magnetic feature is nifty as well. This product came as expected and is worth the price in my opinion.

This set is really disappointing and I hope I can return it. It has plastic handles. That makes no sense, and looks and feels cheap. Bought it as a present for my husband and we both agree, not worth it.

Love the magnetic hanging. The tools work great and the whole ensemble fits nicely in the corner by the fire
