I dreaded getting a fake tree, but I am really surprised with how lovely this one turned out to be. It took me about 2.5-3 hours to put it all together for the first time and fluff it up; it's nice to be able to make adjustments in order to really "fill it in" to my tastes! Looking at it, I can't tell that it's fake, minus the lack of fir smell, of course :) I only wish the middle section locked into place somehow with the base section, as moving it once it's all fluffed is difficult, otherwise. It does not come with a storage bag, so either keep the box or order one. Also, the base is a dead giveaway for a fake tree, so be sure to cover it with a skirt of some kind!. Jennifer. I wasn't sure what to think ordering a tree offline but the price, reviews, and fast shipping sealed the deal. Settled on the Frasier Grande 7.5' Green Fir. What I wanted was a realistic tree that was sturdy and this completely satisfied what I was looking for. Basically, there are 2 types of "branches". The inner, "filler" branches and needles are the standard artificial tree type (slightly glossy, needles are squared-off) and the outer, more visible are rubber and more realistic. The picture actually does the tree justice as you can "pose" each branch to stick out straight or have a more natural droop at the end. We have a lot of heavy ornaments and the strength of the branches held up along with lights. A couple things to keep in mind: (1) This is a wide tree. I nearly had a Clark Griswold mishap setting it up too close to walls/windows. It's over a meter wide. (2) the downside of the sturdiness is that the tree a bit heavy. I'll probably be able to reuse the box it was shipped in for a couple of years but eventually will need to figure out a good solution for storage. (3) Don't expect instructions. It came with a QR code to show you YouTube videos on setting it up. It's not hard to figure out though. (4) It took a couple of days for the tracking number to work. Had it gone to day 3 and I would've had to call customer service to figure out what was happening, just FYI. Overall, very pleased with the tree and with AllModern. Love the tree. Looks beautiful. Putting the tree together was easy. Trying to figure out the plugs for the lights to work together needs improvement. By the time I hooked all the lights together I had scratches all over my arms & broke out with rashes where I had been scratched up. My tree also( a guess due to the height) had to be plug into the wall receptacle with two different plugs and you can’t plug one plug into the back of the other plug to save room on the wall receptacle. The plugs need to be longer and it would be nice if there was a switch to shut the lights off without having to unplug both plugs from the wall. Other than those improvements needed.
