It is all taped together with brown electronical tape. It looks as cheap as it sounds and I bet it won't last more than a year.

This tree is exactly as pictured. I think the packaging could be improved, but it did arrive in good condition. I do wish it had a dimmer, but overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.
