Although I liked the idea that you could make the stem of the candle taller by changing the rubber washer tip, I was disappointed that one of the candles in the package didn't work at all, and realized after the purchase that the bulbs are not a standard candle bulb and must be purchased online separately.

Very high quality. Not your light weight cheap plastic. Yes, it's a lot of batteries (4 AA batteries in each candle) BUT they make up for it because of the automatic timer. You put them in the window and forget about it! I also like that they are adjustable. the lights are super right too.
