So happy. Great quality for the price. Nice neutral color, good stitching and pretty wood in neutral tone (light neutral brown not orange, yellow or red) with no scratches or issues. Excellent scale/size at the end of my queen size bed. Storage area is nice lined and not huge, but I will take all the storage I can get. Good height for sitting to put your socks on and comfortable. Yes, some odor upon opening. I aired for a couple of days with the lid open and some Febreeze. It still has an odor, but not terribly offensive. Expect it to continue fading.
